Hoi, ik ben Lorena!

Ik ben opgegroeid in Spijkenisse, omringd door de liefde en levendigheid van mijn grote Latijns-Amerikaanse familie. Mijn jeugd zat vol warmte, humor, en – dankzij mijn moeder en haar eindeloze telenovela-marathons – een flinke dosis drama. Vanaf jongs af aan was ik helemaal verslingerd aan de kunsten. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat ik voorbestemd was om een hopeloze romanticus te worden.

Fotografie kwam op mijn pad als een manier om die momenten vast te houden. Ik hou van beelden die een vleugje magie hebben – zacht tegenlicht, warm licht, en een sfeer die bijna sprookjesachtig voelt. Voor mij gaat het erom mensen vast te leggen op hun allermooist, precies zoals ze zijn. Niet geposeerd, maar echt. Die onverwachte glimlach, een tedere blik, of dat ene moment waarop alles klopt – dat is wat ik zoek.

Als ik niet aan het fotograferen ben, kun je me vinden terwijl ik op zoek ga naar het lekkerste eten (HUGE FOODIE!), schatten ontdek in kringloopwinkels, of heerlijk opgekruld zit met een goed boek. En ja, ik ben die persoon met een telefoon vol zonsondergangen en reisfoto’s. ;)

Hey, I’m Lorena! I grew up in a small town with a big, noisy Latin family – always surrounded by love and, let’s be honest, lots of drama (thank you, telenovelas with my mom). From a young age, I was completely hooked on the arts. I guess you could say I was doomed to become a hopeless romantic.

Photography somehow found me and now, it’s my favorite way to capture all those special, quirky moments that make life so fun and beautiful. For me, it’s about connecting with you, capturing your love in a way that feels completely real, and making sure your wedding day is full of joy, not stress.

When I’m not snapping photos, you can find me hunting for the best food (HUGE FOODIE!), treasure hunting in thrift stores, or cuddled up with a good book. Oh, and I’m totally that person with a million sunset and travel photos on my phone. ;)
